Head of Product Strategy and Business Development
1) Responsibilities:
- Diversification and expansion of company business (by brand and product category) with focus on high-margin projects
- Search and attracting for new brands in accordance with the company's strategic needs, signing direct contracts, organizing and realizing go-to-market strategies and comprehensive development of new brands and product categories in Russian market
- Comprehensive support and development of private labels (TFN and SLS)
- Identifying key market opportunities, establishing business cases for new brands and product categories, leading go-to market strategies
- Initial market research and competitive environment analysis to qualify the proper product vision
- New product category and brand proposals formulation (based on research data) and evaluation the effect of these proposals on business indicators (shipments, sales, profitability, market share, distribution)
- New product road mapping and full-cycle product execution (incl. service, certification, localization, HW/SW testing and support)
- Gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product and defining its proper positioning
- Collaborating with other departments (marketing, sales, purchases and logistics departments) in order to ensure that the client and consumer goals are met and the company’s overall strategy and commercial aims are supported
- Advocating for product value and benefits for better market perception of the product
- Sales support responsibilities: to provide data and guides to help the sales team to ensure growth of sell-out volumes and margin for managed product lines and avoid toxic stocks
- To create, drive and implement initiatives which help to optimize product and brand matrix and consequently decrease the number of minus-profit positions (and increase high margin positions simultaneously) in company product and brand portfolio

3) Achievements:
- Attracted and signed contracts with more than 10 new brands in terms of diversification strategy of the company (including HOCO, DIZO, SINBO, Riversong, Ulefone, Rombica, TravelBlue, Zebronics, WIFIT and others).
Most of the contracts are exclusive
- Launched and developed more than 10 new brands in Russia, increasing the total turnover from zero to more than 100 million rub for 2022-2023 period
- Increased the Margin of gross profit for TFN Group to a level higher than 30% for several new projects in 2023 (DIZO margin was 31%, SINBO margin was 41%, WIFIT margin was 51%)
- Optimized the product matrices for TFN Group private labels (TFN and SLS) and expanded them by entering new growing market niches, which significantly increased the Turnover (x2), ASP and Profit volume (x1.5)

- Developed a digital Database of current & future models of mobile phones on the market , which has reduced the time of competitive analysis for ZTE from several days to less than 1 hour
- Developed a Product differentiation & positioning map for actual ZTE Mobile phones line-up , which helped ZTE to realize unique features & sales points of its product and to increase Market share 3 times in less than a year
- Initiated ZTE featurephone business in Russia and shipped 100 000 units less than for 1 year
